Swimmin

Saturday my little brother had a birthday. We celebrated it a week ago with my parents since they were going to be out of town. But we wanted to make his actual birthday a fun day so we all went swimming! It was the perfect day. The only thing that would have made it better is if my cute husband didn't have to be stuck at work :(

Clay, Val, Char, Cole and I spent the day swimming, playing, and getting a tan. It was wonderful! Charlotte is the bravest 2 year old I know. She loves the water and even jumped off the diving board! I wish we could spend every Saturday like this! 

after swimming we all hurried home to shower, get ready and then met up at Tepanyaki for dinner! We love you Trickle. I am so lucky and blessed to have such an awesome and fun little brother! Hope you had a happy birthday!

Cole turns 20!

On Sunday we celebrated my little brothers 20th birthday! I can hardly even believe that he is no longer a teenager. It makes me feel old and I'm only 3 years older than him! ha ha

I went to the party supply store with my moms money and she said "get whatever."

She probably shouldn't have said that! haha I went a little crazy.... sorry Mom :)

Everything turned out really cute and we had a great night!

For part of his birthday present we helped my mom redo his bedroom. He left for a week to Arizona and when he came back he had a freshly painted room! It turned out SOO good and he really liked it :)

Gabe free handed the "Y" on his wall and it turned out awesome. I seriously have a talented husband.

we got doorbell ditched last night....

and this was left behind.

"Hi Carlie, happy birthday. I love you you are a great influence on me. Whenever I need you you're there so I made you a card. I know you love spring so I got you the flower lollipop. Happy birthday to you. You live in a castle. You look like a princess and you smell like one too."

Probably the sweetest thing I have ever received! So to whoever made this sweet little card for me- thank you so much!

Birthday!

Gabe turned 24 on May 3rd and we had a little party to celebrate! He woke up to this little sign and some balloons! I had a lot of fun planning a little birthday party for him with our families! We had everyone meet at our house and we drove up to Porcupine Dam. We took our grill, a few tables and some chairs and set up a little camp. It was such a great time! My friend Holly made the cutest cake and it took a lot of effort to get that thing up into the mountains in a bouncy truck in one piece. So you can imaging how not happy I was when I turned around to see my dang dog sitting on top of the cooler just havin a little taste! I felt like crying haha and everyone seemed to think it was pretty hilarious.. and now I guess it is a little funny ;)

It was such a beautiful night to enjoy the mountains and our family! Charlotte had a b l a s t throwing rocks into the water with Papa and Gramma, we did a little fishin, and the dogs had fun swimming! Clay broke out his golf clubs and entertained us while he made his golf balls skip across the water! Thank you to my wonderful family (Gabe's mom and sister, Christina, were there too!) for coming and helping out!

On Thursday we celebrated his 19th birthday!

We had dinner, presents, cake and ice cream! We had such a fun night celebrating with him and hope he had a great birthday. I just have to add- little brothers hold a special place in your heart and I love this kid, I hope he knows that! He's such a driven person and I admire him so much. You are the best little brother bud and I'm so lucky to be your big sister :)

Gabes 23rd Birthday!

This boy got to celebrate his 23rd birthday with not only 1 or 2 but 3 parties!

We started off the festivities on Saturday night by going to Texas Roadhouse with his parents and our good friends Jared and Haylee! I only managed to get a few pictures but we had a great night! After dinner we headed back to our home for some cake, ice cream and a little Dance Central on our Xbox Kinect! Just let me say.... Jared dancing around my living was probably the funniest thing! He was knocking things off shelves and shakin the floor but we were pretty entertained! I'm glad he was such a good sport about it ;)

Party #2:

We had my family come up on Sunday to celebrate with us! We had dinner, more cake and ice cream and just relaxed! We love being able to spend time with our families, they are so great! And my little Charlotte is just so dang cute I cant help take lots of pictures of her!

Party #3:

We had a party on his actual birthday up in Logan with all our awesome friends! (We also just moved, so it was partially an excuse to hang out with everyone before we left!) We went to our favorite pizza joint and were so happy everyone came to celebrate with us! We really love all the amazing people we have met in our short time in Logan and they are definately lifetime friends! haha I act like we are never going back... cant wait to see you all in August when we move back! We love you guys!

We had so much fun celebrating this birthday! I was super sick which put a damper on things but we still enjoyed being with all our buds! After everyone left our house Gabe opened up his presents from me. He scored a new pair of church shoes, razor, new jeans and a new shirt! I love him so much and I hope he had a great birthday!
